Past Perfect Tense

Past perfect Tense merupakan tenses yang digunakan untuk membuat kalimat atau bercerita tentang suatu kejadian yang telah terjadi sebelum waktu sekarang.

contohnya :

* When I arrive at the party, Tom had already gone home

* When I got home, I found that someone had broken into my flat and had stolen my fur coat

* George didn’t want to come to the cinema with us because he had already seen the film twice

* it was my first time in an aeroplane. I was very nervous because I hadn’t flown before

Berikut pola yang gunakan dalam membuat kalimat Past Perfect Tense ^_^

( positive) S + had + verb 3 + ……… when/before + S + Verb 2

contohnya : Andi had already came to his house when we gathered on pariman street

( Negative ) S + had not + Verb 3 …….. When/before S + Verb 2

contohnya : I had sat on this chair before he found me

( Interrogative ) Had + S+ verb 3 ……… when/before + S + Verb 2 ?

contohnya : Had her sat here when you went to your house ?

( Qustion-Word ) QW + had + S + verb 3 + ………. when/before + S + Verb 2

contohnya : what had you made when I came to your house ?
